A Stream of Living Water, Mónica Hernández By serving with the young people and children in the local church in Irving, Texas I realized my lack of the truth and life that are in God. That was a factor that helped me to apply to the Full-Time Training in Anaheim (FTTA). Full of expectations I waited for the respond from the FTTA. Now, I am grateful for the privilege of being trained in life and truth, and also because I have been trained in my character in order to become a normal member that functions in the local church. I knew that being in the FTTA would train me in life and truth, and that made the Training very attractive to me. Thus, I expressed my desire to go to the responsible brothers. After coming to the FTTA, and meeting other trainees in my house, classmates, and gospel team I knew that everything was arranged according to the Lord's sovereign arrangement, and I knew that I would enjoy my time in the Training. Now, I am in the second term and I describe the Training as a mighty river of crystalline water. A mighty river does not have a bottom, and the crystalline water cleans everything that is on its way. In addition, this water refreshes and quenches the thirst. The time my gospel team spends in prayer and in coordination to preach the gospel is so precious to me because we see the results in the people that we contact by preaching the gospel. One sister in the Lord is a widow with five children and is a result of those prayers. We visit her every week, also I pray with her over the phone during the week. Here I can see that it is necessary to have the truth and life that the Training provides, but more than this, my character needs to be dealt with: in being diligent to call her by phone, visit her on time, pray for her. It does not matter how I feel; but I can express Christ's humanity deposited in me. I invest a part of my being in order that her hunger will be satisfied. I thank God, the local church in my city, and my parents for the opportunity to be in the Training. Not only are my expectations being met, but there is a marvelous surplus in the dealing with my soul, spirit, and body (1 Thessalonians 5:23). 2 Corinthians 4:16: Therefore we do not lose heart; but though our outer man is decaying, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day.
